Krone
Krone began in 1906, when Bernhard Krone set up his own blacksmith workshop in Spelle, Germany. It was Bernhard’s two oldest sons that expanded the blacksmith shop from shoeing horses to include the manufacturing of farm machinery. Their goal was to create labor saving machines to ease the workload for local farmers. Today, Krone has a specialized focus in manufacturing hay and forage equipment that is the highest quality and the most efficient on the market.
Mowers
KRONE AM and EC series disc mowers offer a comprehensive range of cutting widths from 2.0 to 4.0m. With outstanding mowing quality, the highest rate of output and low power requirements KRONE disc mowers enable you to increase your production while reducing costs.
The KRONE EC range has a V shaped mower head allowing flat mowing of pasture or higher mowing in long stemmed grasses giving a consistently clean cut free from blockages. With fully enclosed and welded cutter bars, KRONE mowers are free from oil leaks and distortion even after years of use.

Rakes + Tedders

KRONE offer a range of three-point linkage and trailed rakes in the Swadro range. The three-point linkage single rotor rakes have working widths from 3.5 to 4.6m and with up to 13 tine arms they deposit the crop in clean, even swaths. The trailed centre swath rakes have working widths from 6.8 to 8.8m and are high output machines attaining work rates of approximately 8.5 hectares per hour.
KRONE KW series tedders are a high quality and reliable machine with maintenance free rotor gearboxes running in fluid grease. The tines are unequal lengths to ensure they do not catch the ground, ensuring the crop is deposited cleanly and uniformly.
Balers
Fortima is the name of the new round baler that supersedes Krone’s VarioPack model, an established machine that has been proven all over the world. In terms of its external styling, the new round baler resembles the Comprima Baler and is equally powerful and efficient, offering high operator comfort, a clear-cut design and a uniquely high level of specification. The variable chamber Fortima is marketed in two versions: Fortima V 1500 (1-1.5m bale diameters) and Fortima V 1800 (1-1.8m bale diameters); each version may be specified with Krone’s MultiCut cutting system.
